Job Description
Lead Software Engineer developing scalable solutions for US Service Animals and Dog Academy. Leading and mentoring a team of developers for web and mobile applications.
Responsibilities:
- A balance of leading team and execution of software development/delivery
- A passion for writing clean, well-documented code, as well as holding others on the team accountable to do the same
- Coaching other engineers on the team to increase overall team (technical) skills and performance
- Establishment of a framework for 'Code Standards' and overall best practices for the team to adhere to
- Partnering with product in preliminary stages to design software that's robust, secure, scalable, and built to last
Requirements:
- Expertise in PHP; specifically with LiveWire and Filament
- Expertise in building applications in the Cloud (AWS)
- Expertise in making sound Architectural decisions to support both B2C and B2B enterprise applications
- Fluency in Agile methodologies and iterative development
- Experience with automated testing frameworks, such as Selenium or Cypress
