Job Description
Lecturer Manager for recruiting and managing external instructors for Macromedia University. Involved in onboarding, document management, and relationship building with instructors.
Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and hiring of external instructors, including preparation, coordination, and issuance of framework contracts and teaching assignments
- Development, expansion, and maintenance of a nationwide pool of instructors and a cross-disciplinary instructor database
- Collection, coordination, and structured documentation of instructors' availability
- Planning, organizing, and conducting onboarding for new instructors (e.g., instructor ID cards, system access, initial briefing)
- Maintenance and administration of all instructor-related data in the Student Information System (e.g., CVs, framework agreements, teaching assignments, supplemental agreements, examination authorization documents)
- Preparation and issuance of certificates and reference letters for adjunct instructors
- Participation in the design, development, and implementation of processes and policies in the area of instructor management
- Active maintenance of instructor relationships, e.g., by organizing instructor meetings, semester refreshers, and other exchange formats
- Supervision and monitoring of the self-billing process in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
Requirements:
- Experience recruiting external adjunct instructors or freelance staff
- Proficient use of databases as well as administrative and CRM systems
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Basic knowledge of billing/accounting processes
- Excellent communication and networking skills
- Service-oriented, reliable demeanor with strong self-organization and dependability
- Proactive, structured working style and ability to coordinate across departments
- Experience organizing events
- Experience in higher education, adult education, or academic environments preferred
- Excellent spoken and written German and English
