Job Description

Legal & Compliance Manager at meistro overseeing energy law compliance and advising legal matters. Collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure legal and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Advising the business unit on all company-related legal matters
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating legally sound contracts
  • Communicating with authorities, external service providers and internal departments
  • Supporting the assurance of internal and external compliance and data protection
  • Assisting the Head of Legal & Compliance with day-to-day operations
  • Conducting research on current legal issues, legislative changes and relevant case law
  • Maintaining and managing legal databases and contract archives

Requirements:

  • Qualified lawyer (Volljurist) or business lawyer (Wirtschaftsjurist)
  • Completed training as a legal assistant (Rechtsanwaltsfachangestellte/r), legal specialist (Rechtsfachwirt/in) or notary clerk (Notarfachangestellte/r) with relevant professional experience
  • Several years of professional experience in industry, a law firm or a notary’s office
  • Strong knowledge of energy law, commercial law and corporate law
  • Confident use of MS Office and, ideally, document management systems
  • Experience coordinating and communicating with authorities and external advisors
  • Ability to explain legal topics in a clear and accessible way
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Proactive, curious and enthusiastic about new topics
  • Careful, structured and independent working style
  • Discretion, team spirit and strong organizational skills
