Job Description
Legal & Compliance Manager at meistro overseeing energy law compliance and advising legal matters. Collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure legal and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Advising the business unit on all company-related legal matters
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating legally sound contracts
- Communicating with authorities, external service providers and internal departments
- Supporting the assurance of internal and external compliance and data protection
- Assisting the Head of Legal & Compliance with day-to-day operations
- Conducting research on current legal issues, legislative changes and relevant case law
- Maintaining and managing legal databases and contract archives
Requirements:
- Qualified lawyer (Volljurist) or business lawyer (Wirtschaftsjurist)
- Completed training as a legal assistant (Rechtsanwaltsfachangestellte/r), legal specialist (Rechtsfachwirt/in) or notary clerk (Notarfachangestellte/r) with relevant professional experience
- Several years of professional experience in industry, a law firm or a notary’s office
- Strong knowledge of energy law, commercial law and corporate law
- Confident use of MS Office and, ideally, document management systems
- Experience coordinating and communicating with authorities and external advisors
- Ability to explain legal topics in a clear and accessible way
- Fluent in German and English
- Proactive, curious and enthusiastic about new topics
- Careful, structured and independent working style
- Discretion, team spirit and strong organizational skills
