Job Description
Magento Developer joining a fast-growing e-commerce solutions provider. Focusing on Magento 2 extensions and implementing solutions for international commerce.
Responsibilities:
- Implement new features driving our customer’s business
- Extend and maintain order import and processing pipeline
- Build and maintain integrations with Glopal's external APIs
- Write unit and integration tests and keep coverage healthy
- Maintain code quality and debug operational issues
Requirements:
- 2+ years of professional Magento 2 backend development experience
- Solid understanding of Magento's Dependency Injection system (constructor injection, virtual types, preferences, plugins, observers)
- Experience with the repository pattern, resource models, and schema upgrades
- Practical knowledge of extending the Magento checkout flow (totals, validators)
- PHP 8 proficiency including interfaces, strict types, SOLID principles
- Experience writing PHPUnit tests (unit and integration) with mocks and stubs
- Comfortable consuming REST APIs in PHP and working with JSON-based DTOs
- Git, Composer, and Docker for day-to-day development workflow
- Excellent written and spoken English, comfortable with working in an international environment
