Job Description
Major Account Executive selling Akamai solutions to new enterprise customers in the Benelux region. Responsible for full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
Responsibilities:
- Meeting new customer bookings quota within the set of assigned prospects to meet and exceed forecasts
- Maintaining sales pipeline, accurate monthly and quarterly forecast to increase visibility of prospects
- Fostering long-term, trusted relationships by understanding customer needs and being an advocate for Akamai
- Working with integrated cross-functional teams to ensure customer’s requirements are successfully delivered
- Having a ability to build executive level relationships with high-level customers CXO
Requirements:
- Have experience in hunting for new business within an assigned set of prospects, high-touch sales cycles and cross selling products
- Demonstrate experience of account management with short term and long term planning
- Demonstrate a good understanding of technology and the Internet, including cloud security and networking a strategic landscape
- Be able to work in a collaborative, results oriented environment
- Be a self-starter, excited about working in an entrepreneurial, fast paced environment
- Have a ability to build executive level relationships with high-level customers CXO
- Have good written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English
- Show an understanding of our customers businesses, pain points and how we can propose solutions
