Job Description
Manager, Broker Sales growing Teladoc Health’s virtual-care partnerships with Minnesota employee-benefits brokers. Driving broker education, territory pipeline, contracts, renewals, and sales quota attainment.
Responsibilities:
- Create a personal sales strategy/business plan supporting Teladoc Health’s corporate goals
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with regional brokers and benefits consultants
- Develop and execute territory sales strategy to drive pipeline, partnerships, and revenue
- Develop broker/consultant relationships and identify sales opportunities within partners’ books of business
- Manage proposals, RFI/RFQ/RFP processes, contracts, and communications
- Present a customized strategic “Virtual First” vision to prospect leadership teams
- Achieve annual sales quota
- Grow expertise in the virtual healthcare environment
- Manage a large pipeline across multiple partnerships
- Use Salesforce, Adobe, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and other tools throughout the sales cycle
- Educate brokers on virtual care solutions through webinars, demos, and in-person meetings
- Understand competitors and Teladoc Health’s differentiation
- Negotiate contracts and terms with sales leadership and legal support
- Support renewals and attend industry events, health fairs, and speaking engagements as needed
- Travel 25–50%
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ sales experience working directly with employee benefits brokers and benefits consultants
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales quota
- Must live in Minnesota territory
- Experience effectively running a multi-state territory working with brokers/benefits consultants and employers with fewer than 5,000 employees
- Strong relationship-building skills and knowledge of employer benefits, healthcare, and broker/consultant market
- Demonstrated trend of increasing sales through outstanding sales results and leadership
- Excellent communication skills, including presenting, speaking, writing, and follow-up
- Strong prospecting, cold-calling, lead generation, and closing skills
- Robust time management and ability to manage a pipeline
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce
- Ability to work well in a remote sales team environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Adaptability to fast-paced, evolving environments
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future
