Job Description
Santen pharmaceutical manager leading Japan business-partner IT strategy and digital transformation. Managing portfolios, investments, teams, and strategic initiatives across global stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Business Partner team and formulate and advance digital and IT strategies aligned with business strategy
- Act as a trusted partner to business divisions by understanding medium- and long-term business challenges and growth opportunities
- Drive value creation, business transformation, and organizational capability enhancement through technology
- Manage the system portfolio and IT investments
- Lead the creation and execution of a digital roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Manage the team while personally leading important projects and strategic initiatives as a player-manager
- Collaborate closely with global, regional, and local stakeholders and the Digital & IT organization
- Contribute to sustainable business results and accelerate digital transformation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years of experience in IT, digital, or business partner roles
- Experience leading IT projects or business transformation programs involving multiple stakeholders
- Broad knowledge of enterprise applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and IT service management
- Experience in IT strategy development, portfolio management, and IT investment management
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in multicultural and global environments
- Team-leader or people-management experience
- Business-level communication skills in Japanese and English
- Leadership ability to make autonomous decisions and move the organization forward in uncertain environments
