Job Description
CBO A/R Manager in charge of billing operations within the Centralized Billing Office for a healthcare organization. Focused on improving processes, training staff, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations within the PPN Central Billing Office
- Work with the CBO Administrator to develop, implement, and maintain efficient workflows
- Assist in providing direction and guidance to all members of the PPN CBO team
- Collaborate with PPN Practice Managers, providers, and staff to develop process improvements
- Perform all functions with high discretion, integrity, and professionalism
- Provide guidance and direction using independent analysis that aligns with leadership direction and company mission
- Develop and maintain good relationships with employees, peers, and leaders
Requirements:
- Minimum High School diploma or equivalency certificate required; associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in medical billing and/or coding required.
- Prior management experience and/or a minimum of one year of employment within the PPN CBO is required.
- Must have a strong understanding of the Physician Revenue Cycle.
- A strong knowledge of third-party billing regulations and CPT/ICD coding guidelines is required.
- Demonstrates knowledge of routine CRT/data entry.
- Possesses a working knowledge of spreadsheet applications.
- Must exhibit strong communication and decision-making skills.
