Job Description
Manager, Content Operations at TPR Education ensuring accurate content integration and operational improvement. Leading cross-functional collaborations to enhance customer experience and access to products.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary partner for product and content setup, managing cross-functional stakeholders and balancing competing priorities.
- Develop advanced knowledge of internal systems, practices, and policies, with a deep understanding of how tools, processes, and data flows connect across the organization.
- Analyze product and content data across systems as product strategy evolves and implement updates and system-wide changes to ensure students receive the right content at the right time.
- Define and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for product setup, content updates, and issue resolution, ensuring internal teams and vendor partners deliver work accurately, efficiently, and on time.
- Evaluate and triage cross-functional requests against broader product and content strategy to ensure consistency and alignment across the portfolio.
- Manage and coach a Content Operations Manager while fostering a high-performing operations culture and leading process improvement initiatives.
- Manage vendor resources and partnerships to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective execution of content operations work.
- Identify, develop, and document training needs; create and maintain process documentation, training materials, and best practices for product setup and system updates.
- Use AI tools and technologies to accelerate content data setup, streamline workflows, and bridge technical gaps.
- Triage incoming product data issues, respond to internal inquiries, investigate exceptions, and coordinate across teams to resolve complex problems.
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent business experience.
- 5+ years of experience in product and/or content data operations or in a complex data systems role, preferably in education technology.
- Direct experience managing, coaching, and developing direct reports, as well as managing vendor resources.
- Proven ability to manage diverse stakeholders, prioritize competing interests, and navigate complex organizations.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skill set, with the ability to manage and manipulate large volumes of data.
- Exceptional curiosity and aptitude for learning complex, homegrown product data systems and understanding intricate data flows.
- Proficiency with AI tools to accelerate data management and updates.
- Outstanding organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage progress against milestones and deliverables.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations to technical and non-technical internal audiences.
- Working knowledge of front-end web development concepts (e.g., HTML/CSS) is a plus but not required.
