Job Description
Medical Imaging Field Engineer responsible for servicing MR equipment in Sarasota, FL. Installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining Siemens Healthineers equipment to ensure optimal system performance.
Responsibilities:
- Servicing MR equipment in the Sarasota, FL area.
- Installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on all Siemens Healthineers equipment.
- Delivering timely and effective repairs as well as adequate training of operators to ensure optimal system performance, resulting in superior customer satisfaction.
- Managing financial performance within the territory through inventory management, time management, and timely service call closure.
- Managing company assets to include a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, inventory parts, etc.
- Establishing and maintaining proper business relationships with customers and peers.
- Performing necessary administrative duties accurately.
Requirements:
- Minimum high school diploma
- Technical degree, military training, or equivalent applicable training preferred
- 3+ years’ experience of complex electro-mechanical, or as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments needed
- Valid driver's license, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record required
- Proficient in the use of tools and service test equipment (DMM, Oscilloscope, torque wrenches, etc.)
- Ability to work individually and in a team setting
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance, and modifications on Medical Imaging Equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.
