Job Description

Medical Secretary providing frontline support and customer service at Beth Israel Lahey Health. Managing patient interactions, appointments, and clerical tasks in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform phone interactions, registration, scheduling, co-pay collection, billing, and appointment confirmation calls
  • Provide the highest standards of customer service in all interactions with patients and staff
  • Ensure that patients receive the right care at the right time

Requirements:

  • High School Degree or GED
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a high-volume customer service-related position
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong PC skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask
