Job Description

Merchant services field sales representative growing new and existing accounts for Elavon, U.S. Bank's payment-solutions subsidiary. Presenting payment products and building referral networks across San Francisco/Bay Area.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop profitable new business account relationships
  • Increase profitability from existing accounts
  • Identify business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products, and services
  • Make sales presentations to existing and prospective clients
  • Inform clients of benefits of using the organization's products and services
  • Implement and maintain an effective referral network and call program to promote sales

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Two to three years of relevant sales experience
  • Ability to travel
  • Ability to communicate fluently in Mandarin
  • Cantonese language capability is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of product marketing, client service issues and organization operations
  • Strong marketing, business development/sales and negotiating skills
  • Ability to creatively resolve client concerns and issues
  • Basic problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies
