Job Description
National Sales Manager responsible for building customer relationships and driving revenue growth. Collaborates with sales leadership to achieve business objectives in the event organizing industry.
Responsibilities:
- The National Sales Manager is responsible for building strong customer and stakeholder relationships
- Driving revenue growth, converting leads, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction
- Works collaboratively with the Sales leadership team and cross-functional partners to support strategic initiatives
- Expected to exercise sound discretion and independent judgment in the performance of essential job duties
- Collaboratively plan and execute the sales process through discovery, consultation, and engagements
- Collaborate with the Senior Director to implement and follow a plan to solicit new business
- Maintain current knowledge about industry developments, competitors, and market trends
- Grow booked business by 10% on an annual basis
- Cultivate relationships and secure business with event organizers of trade shows, conventions, and corporate meetings
- Target business with a value of five-hundred thousand dollars or greater
- Achieve and maintain annual sales revenue of four million or greater
- Represent Shepard at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote brand awareness and generate leads
- Collaborate with Sales leadership to develop and deliver professional proposals and presentations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6+ years of sales experience.
- Minimum of 6+ years of industry experience.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve and exceed goals.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Possess strong business and financial acumen.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; relevant experience may be substituted for formal education.
