Job Description
Non-Executive Director at CEX.IO providing governance oversight as the company transitions to MiCAR authorization in Spain. Responsible for strategic counsel and fiduciary responsibilities within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide independent oversight to the Executive Management team
- Ensure operations maintain high standards of financial integrity and regulatory excellence
- Help executive directors identify hidden problems or external factors impacting profitability
- Ensure adherence to the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCAR) and local mandates
- Advise on developing robust risk management and internal control systems
- Participate in Board meetings and specialized committees
Requirements:
- Governance experience with a track record in Senior Executive (and/or Non-Executive board member) roles
- Deep understanding of EU financial regulatory environments
- Must be a tax resident of Spain
- Ability to remain objective and provide a fiduciary check-and-balance to the executive team
