Job Description
Onboarding & Training Specialist guiding dental practices through digital restorative workflows for Incisive. Training teams on intraoral scanners, case submission, early adoption, and successful first cases.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end onboarding for new practices from scanner delivery through first successful cases and handoff to steady-state
- Guide practices through a structured onboarding program with clear milestones, adapting delivery to each practice's staff structure, learning style, and pace
- Create and configure lab accounts and coordinate with lab partners on practice preferences, case workflows, and submission requirements
- Ensure practices understand Incisive's value proposition, quality standards, and lab network operations
- Facilitate change management with dentists and practice leaders to build buy-in for digital workflow adoption
- Deliver virtual and occasional in-person training across supported scanner platforms
- Cover scanning workflows for crowns, bridges, and implants, case submission and lab-specific workflows, and scanner care and maintenance
- Provide hands-on live scanning coaching and live chairside support for early cases
- Deliver advanced training for complex workflows such as AOX, dentures, and complex restorative
- Provide retraining and follow-up sessions to drive sustained adoption and utilization
- Monitor first cases and early scan quality and provide constructive feedback
- Track practice performance against activation milestones and time-to-value targets
- Identify adoption or utilization gaps and run targeted follow-up
- Identify early risk signals during onboarding and escalate proactively to Customer Success
- Document onboarding outcomes, recurring friction points, and training effectiveness
- Recommend improvements to training curriculum, materials, and onboarding processes
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in onboarding, training, or clinical/digital enablement
- Dental technology or dental practice experience required
- Hands-on familiarity with intraoral scanning workflows
- Experience with Sirios X3, Trios, or ICAM is a plus
- Clear communicator with strong instructional presence
- Comfortable leading live virtual training and clinical guidance
- Strong troubleshooting instincts and attention to detail
- Organized, reliable, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment
- Ability to work Eastern or Central Time Zone hours is required
- Experience with ICAM / photogrammetry is a bonus
