Job Description

Operations Associate managing daily operational tasks related to money movement servicing retail and corporate accounts at fintech company Jiko. Joining a growing team focused on innovative financial solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute daily operational tasks related to money movement servicing retail and corporate accounts.
  • Manage wire processing through internal systems and through Fedline Advantage and our correspondent bank.
  • Manage daily tasks for Bank Operations including other payment rails like ACH and card.
  • Develop, maintain, and update internal processes involving bank operations.
  • Maintain bank ledger accuracy and plan for daily reconciliation of bank and broker-dealer liquidity.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for day to day requests from Jiko customers and partners.
  • Evaluate requests and respond or escalate according to Jiko’s support procedures.
  • Capture client feedback and feature requests and collaborate with product and leadership to drive customer centric product changes.
  • Analyze trends, assist with reporting requests, and help to improve processes that deliver an excellent customer experience at scale.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience working with wire transfers and other payment rails at banks, preferably using Fedline Advantage and/or SWIFT for international wires.
  • 2+ years of experience working in client facing or operations support roles.
  • Bonus if, within a growth-stage technology startup!
  • Experience with Fedline Advantage for wire processing and SWIFT + international wires is a plus.
  • Knowledgeable about ACH, debit card, and other payment rails in addition to wires.
  • Experience working with engineering teams and/or in the banking industry is a plus, and experience working with compliance is also a plus!
  • Meticulous organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ownership of issue resolution.
  • Polished communicator with the ability to advise business leaders, facilitate small and large group sessions, and navigate sensitive situations with tact.
  • High functioning EQ (Emotional Intelligence), with the ability to understand other experiences and perspectives to inform recommendations and business decisions.
  • Comfortable working with distributed teams in a flexible, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office/GSuite tools.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Ability to be agile and work in any environment.
  • Ability to cover east coast morning hours and flexibility to be part of a 24/7 coverage team.
