Job Description

Operations Support Specialist managing operational workflows for compliance and financial processes. Updating supplier/customer records and validating data accuracy in a remote setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Update and maintain customer and/or supplier data in spreadsheets and internal tools (e.g., names, contacts, statuses, identifiers).
  • Validate data accuracy and completeness, spot inconsistencies, and follow a clear process to resolve or escalate issues.
  • Process inbound requests from other teams (e.g., data fixes, new records, updates) and ensure they’re completed within agreed timelines.
  • Keep documentation and checklists up to date as processes evolve, and suggest small improvements when you notice recurring friction.
  • Create operational reports (daily/weekly) to help the team track progress and backlog.
  • Coordinate with teammates asynchronously to ensure work is handed off cleanly and nothing gets missed.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years experience in a similar admin, back-office or data support role.
  • Experience working in a medium or large company with structured workflows and multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong experience using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and managing data in spreadsheets.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English, both written and spoken.
  • Process-driven and detail-oriented, with the discipline to follow documented specification workflows precisely and deliver consistent, high-quality work.
  • Excellent data hygiene skills for tasks such as deduplication, formatting, simple and spreadsheet functions.
  • Highly organised, dependable, and able to prioritise without constant supervision.
