Job Description

Oracle FLEXCUBE banking specialist modelling credit, lending, and contract workflows for 24-MAG’s remote research initiative. Documenting auditable exposure analyses, transaction histories, customer records, and operational handoffs.

Responsibilities:

  • Calculate customer or facility exposure, including arrears, available headroom, utilised limits, and overall credit position
  • Interpret lending limits, facility structures, approval thresholds, and escalation requirements
  • Navigate Oracle FLEXCUBE contract inquiry and lifecycle workflows across origination, drawdown, repayment, and release
  • Review contract records and distinguish validation-only postings from booked transactions
  • Verify repayments and identify incomplete or incorrectly represented transaction histories
  • Review CIF structures, customer records, relationship hierarchies, contact histories, review dates, and follow-up actions
  • Interpret product parameters, configuration, General Ledger mappings, settlement references, and correspondent references
  • Apply credit standards, policy versions, effective dates, limits, and regulatory or documentation requirements
  • Confirm records reflect completed actions and identify unresolved outstanding items
  • Document validations, decisions, assumptions, open issues, and audit trails clearly
  • Review MIS and reporting screens for exposure and customer-position information
  • Ensure case records are complete for the next reviewer or approving committee

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of professional banking experience in banking operations, credit, lending, or a related core-banking function
  • Current or recent hands-on use of Oracle FLEXCUBE at least weekly
  • Strong familiarity with Oracle FLEXCUBE customer, contract, credit, and transaction workflows
  • Practical understanding of credit standards, exposure calculations, arrears, limits, and available headroom
  • Ability to distinguish validation activity from booked contractual transactions
  • Experience interpreting CIF structures, facility hierarchies, review dates, and customer relationship records
  • Familiarity with product parameters, GL mapping, settlement references, and core banking configuration
  • Understanding of audit trails, operational handoffs, and banking-control requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline
  • Banking or credit qualifications such as Chartered Banker or Certified Credit Professional are advantageous
  • Equivalent substantial hands-on core banking experience may also be considered
  • Strong written English and ability to document banking decisions precisely and clearly
  • Regular, recent Oracle FLEXCUBE experience is required
  • Must complete work without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to an employer, client, financial institution, or third party
  • H1-B and STEM OPT support is unavailable
