Job Description

Outside Software Account Representative growing Thryv’s SaaS client base among Denver small businesses. Building pipelines, prospecting, and closing new software sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Grow and expand Thryv's SaaS clients in the local business market
  • Build a self-generated and company-initiated prospect pipeline to meet a predetermined sales quota
  • Prospect and qualify new business opportunities within an assigned territory
  • Identify local business owners who fit Thryv's platform
  • Secure new SaaS clients through networking, referrals, and company prospecting programs
  • Execute defined operational processes, engagement cadences, certifications, order entry, and intake requirements
  • Participate in sales meetings, call calibrations, and training
  • Educate and guide prospects through the buyer’s journey
  • Partner with marketing and technology departments on sales strategy, product enhancements, and new releases
  • Build and manage a book of business
  • Conduct more than 50% of work outside the home office

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of direct sales experience required, preferably in a SaaS role or company
  • 2+ years’ experience in an outbound sales/full sales cycle role required
  • Industry knowledge and ability to thoroughly understand the Thryv product suite
  • Exceptional written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong emotional intelligence and adaptability
  • Time-management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment and conduct sales presentations while following established processes
  • Strong technical skills and proficiency in MS Office; ability to learn new programs and systems
  • High-speed internet, acceptable office setting, and proper business attire
  • Valid driver's license and personal transportation
  • Must live local to Denver, CO, within a 1-hour commute
