Job Description
Payroll Specialist managing monthly payroll for Artemed’s German hospital group. Maintaining employee data, advising HR teams, and supporting HR process digitalization.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly payrolls for employees, including salaries, wages, allowances and deductions
- Maintain and update employee master data and ensure its accuracy and completeness
- Advise HR departments and employees on payroll-related questions
- Produce reports and statistics
- Work closely with the financial accounting department
- Support personnel-related measures
- Contribute to the optimization of payroll processes
- Apply requirements from payroll tax, social security and labor law in payroll processing
- Support digitization and HR projects, particularly the rollout of the new tool
- Provide centralized payroll services for multiple hospital sites
- Collaborate with the local HR advisors at these locations
Requirements:
- Completed commercial/administrative training, ideally with a focus on HR, and several years of experience in payroll and/or finance; alternatively, a relevant university degree
- Solid knowledge of payroll tax and social insurance law
- Confident user of modern office and business software
- Experience with P&I LogaHR is an advantage
- Independent, structured and responsible way of working
- Strong communication skills, reliability and resilience
- Team spirit, initiative and strong service orientation
- Experience in the healthcare sector is desirable
- Willingness to submit complete application documents including salary expectations and earliest possible start date
