Job Description
People Operations Lead managing HR operations for Dicey, Magic Eden’s crypto casino and sportsbook platform. Supporting globally distributed employees across Australian, US and UK entities.
Responsibilities:
- Run onboarding and offboarding end to end in partnership with Recruitment and IT
- Own Rippling as the HRIS, maintaining accurate employee data and workflows
- Manage the Deel EOR workforce, including onboarding, contract changes and day-to-day contact with Deel
- Support employees across US, UK and Australian entities, handling contracts, leave and local requirements
- Administer regional benefits, including US Open Enrollment with the broker
- Partner with Finance on payroll and accurately capture starters, leavers and changes
- Handle sensitive employee matters, including performance conversations, exits and investigations
- Serve as the first point of contact for questions about policies, leave, benefits and paperwork
- Document and improve HR processes for scalability across countries and time zones
- Report to the COO and work closely with Recruitment, IT and Finance
Requirements:
- 5+ years in HR operations, ideally at a fast-moving, globally distributed company
- Experience handling sensitive employee matters with discretion and sound judgment
- Hands-on experience with Rippling or a similar HRIS
- Experience managing an EOR workforce, ideally through Deel
- Working knowledge of Australian employment requirements
- Exposure to the US, with UK exposure a strong plus
- High attention to detail and a track record of making things run reliably
- Clear, warm written communication
- Comfort working across time zones, with enough flexibility to overlap with US and UK hours
- Experience in crypto, Web3 or online gaming is a bonus
- Experience supporting US employees and benefits is a bonus
