Job Description
People Operations & Talent Acquisition Partner driving recruitment for a fast-growing beverage brand. Collaborating with hiring managers and providing HR support in a startup environment.
Responsibilities:
- Own full-cycle recruiting across multiple departments and functions, serving as the primary driver of talent acquisition for the business
- Partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to define hiring needs, candidate profiles, and recruiting strategies aligned to company growth goals
- Build and maintain strong pipelines of top talent within CPG, food & beverage, wellness, nutrition, supplements, and consumer brands
- Lead sourcing efforts through LinkedIn, networking, referrals, industry outreach, and creative recruiting strategies
- Manage all aspects of the candidate experience, including outreach, interview coordination, communication, and offer processes
- Act as a trusted recruiting partner by advising hiring managers on market trends, candidate quality, compensation expectations, and hiring best practices
- Help strengthen Javvy’s employer brand as we continue scaling nationally
- Improve recruiting operations, ATS workflows, hiring processes, and recruiting analytics
- Provide support across core People Operations and HR functions, particularly during maternity leave coverage for the Head of People
- Assist with onboarding, offboarding, employee documentation, HR systems administration, and employee support
- Support compliance-related processes including leave administration, policy updates, HR recordkeeping, and operational workflows
- Assist with payroll coordination, benefits administration, PTO tracking, and day-to-day People Operations support
- Help maintain and improve internal policies, SOPs, employee resources, and the employee handbook
- Support employee engagement initiatives, culture-building efforts, and internal programming
- Assist with HR systems management (Rippling or similar), reporting, and operational process improvements
- Gain exposure to broader People strategy and infrastructure as the company continues to scale
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, People Operations, and/or HR roles
- Direct recruiting experience within CPG, food & beverage, wellness, nutrition, supplements, or better-for-you consumer brands, with a strong focus on corporate and HQ hiring
- Understand the pace, hiring profiles, and operational realities of scaling consumer brands
- Passionate about recruiting and confident owning full-cycle hiring in a high-growth environment
- Excited by the opportunity to expand your experience into broader HR and People Operations over time
- Worked at a startup or scaling company and thrive in fast-moving environments with evolving priorities
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple hiring pipelines and operational workstreams simultaneously
- Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable operating independently
- Strong emotional intelligence, communication skills, and professionalism when handling sensitive information
- Experience with HRIS and ATS platforms such as Rippling
