Job Description
Remote contractor answering inbound donor calls for nonprofit fundraising campaigns. Processing pledges, verifying transactions, and protecting confidential information from home.
Responsibilities:
- Professionally answer incoming donor calls
- Follow campaign-specific scripts and procedures
- Accurately process pledge and donation information
- Verify donor and transaction details
- Enter information into designated computer systems
- Navigate multiple screens while communicating with callers
- Protect confidential information
- Follow established compliance and quality requirements
- Maintain dependable attendance and performance
- Support established nonprofit fundraising campaigns by assisting donors who call to make pledges and contributions
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or GED
- At least six months of remote customer-service experience or one year of onsite customer-service experience
- Strong verbal communication and active-listening skills
- Accurate data-entry and basic computer skills
- Ability to navigate multiple systems while speaking
- Professional and dependable work habits
- Quiet, dedicated home workspace
- Windows 11 computer
- At least 8GB of RAM; 16GB recommended
- USB headset with noise cancellation
- Wired high-speed internet
- Direct Ethernet connection
- Quiet, distraction-free workspace
- MacBooks, Chromebooks, tablets, and Wi-Fi-only connections are not permitted
- Required certification must be completed before servicing
- Eligibility may depend on experience, location, equipment, background requirements, and certification results
