Job Description
Power BI Developer with 4–5 years in Power BI and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Fabric. Responsible for designing dashboards, optimizing models, and developing analytics solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports
- Build and optimize semantic models (datasets) using best practices like star schema and dimensional modeling
- Develop end-to-end analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse & OneLake, Fabric Pipelines, Notebooks (Spark)
- Optimize Direct Lake and Import models for large-scale analytics
- Monitor performance using tools like Performance Analyzer, DAX Studio, and Fabric monitoring
- Develop data ingestion pipelines from various sources: Snowflake, SQL Server, APIs, Data Lakes, etc.
- Implement data governance and security: Row-Level Security (RLS), Data access management
Requirements:
- 4–5 years of Power BI experience
- Hands-on expertise in Microsoft Fabric
- Strong experience in building high-performance semantic models
- Proficiency in optimizing large-scale datasets
- Implementing efficient data refresh strategies
