Job Description
Technical Product Manager automating KYC document processing with OCR, computer vision, and LLMs. Driving Sumsub’s AI-powered trust infrastructure toward higher accuracy and lower operational costs.
Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end product roadmap for converting manual document processing tasks into high-accuracy automated pipelines
- Drive text extraction, data masking, and fraud/forgery detection automation
- Identify applications for computer vision, OCR, and LLMs/AI agents to structure unstructured document data
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for internal stakeholders
- Analyze requirements, evaluate technical feasibility, and translate requirements into specifications for ML and backend engineers
- Own prioritization, sprint execution, and delivery to production
- Define, track, and optimize automation rate, precision, recall, and processing latency using SQL and internal data tools
- Test and validate product behavior, data extraction accuracy, and edge-case workflows
- Collaborate directly with ML and backend engineers
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- 1+ years in Product Management/Product Technical Product Management roles
- Preferably transitioned into Product Management from Software Development, QA Engineering, or an L3 Technical Specialist role
- Deep understanding of API architectures, microservices, automation frameworks, and backend data processing pipelines
- Practical understanding of computer vision, OCR, LLMs, and prompt engineering
- Experience replacing manual human tasks with automated software solutions, preferably in FinTech, RegTech, Logistics, or another data-heavy domain
- Comfortable writing SQL queries to analyze system accuracy, identify edge cases, and measure performance metrics
- Comfortable working in a lean, fast-paced environment with high autonomy and rapid feedback loops
- Ability to explain complex technical trade-offs in structured, client-friendly terms
- Fluent English
- Experience with document processing, KYC/AML workflows, or fraud detection systems is nice to have
- Practical experience applying LLMs/agents to unstructured data extraction challenges is nice to have
