Job Description
Product Manager at Vizzlo overseeing data visualization tools and collaborating closely with teams for B2B SaaS startup. Driving product roadmaps and customer discovery for innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
- You will be our Product Manager responsible for the "what" and the "why" behind everything we ship.
- You talk to customers, comb through usage data, write concise specifications, and work with our engineers to turn ideas into features people love.
- Your responsibilities include:
- Product roadmap: Define and prioritize what we build next based on customer feedback, market insights, and company goals.
- Specifications & documentation: Write clear, detailed specifications in Markdown — that’s our process — so engineers know exactly what to build and why.
- Customer discovery: Talk to customers frequently. Understand their workflows, pain points, and what "wow" looks like for them.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work daily with engineers and designers to ship iteratively and quickly.
- AI exploration: Assess where AI can actually make our product smarter — and where it’s just hype.
- Data-driven decisions: Track product metrics, run experiments, and use data to validate ideas (or kill your favorites).
- Do what it takes: Do whatever is necessary to move the product forward — whether coordinating a launch, triaging a bug, answering a support ticket, or making coffee for the team.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and spoken English (required); German proficiency is a plus.
- More than 2 years of product management experience, preferably in a SaaS or B2B environment.
- A genuine interest in data visualization, charts, and presenting complex information clearly.
- Ability to write specifications that engineers actually enjoy reading.
- Markdown fluency is a must.
- Comfortable working closely with nerdy engineers — in fact, you see yourself as one of them.
- Curiosity about AI/ML and a pragmatic sense of where it can improve a product.
- Action-oriented: You’d rather ship something imperfect and iterate than spend weeks debating.
Benefits:
- Full-time position with a competitive compensation package.
- Startup environment where your talents and motivation can make a real difference.
- International team of highly motivated practitioners.
- Fully remote (within Germany) with very nice offices in Leipzig (Plagwitz) for optional in-person collaboration.
