Job Description
Clinical Product Manager working with healthcare protocols and AI technology development in Brazil's leading healthcare operator.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the interface between clinical/care teams and the product & technology team in the squad's day-to-day work
- Map, analyze and document existing clinical care protocols, identifying opportunities for automation and improvement using AI
- Conduct interviews and discovery sessions with physicians, nurses and clinical managers to elicit functional and non-functional requirements
- Translate clinical needs into user stories, acceptance criteria and epics in the product backlog
- Validate with clinical teams that solutions delivered by engineering accurately reflect clinical workflows
- Identify clinical and regulatory risks in requirements and flag them to the team before development
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies (planning, review, refinement) as the voice of the clinical area
- Support the preparation of technical and clinical documentation required for internal approvals and audits
Requirements:
- Degree in Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy or a related health field
- Postgraduate degree or MBA in Health Management, Health Informatics or Innovation
- Proven experience in digital product management or IT projects in healthcare (minimum 3 years)
- Solid knowledge of clinical care workflows: inpatient care, triage, clinical protocols, electronic health record (EHR)
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and product management tools (Jira, Confluence or similar)
- Ability to communicate both technically and clinically: able to speak effectively with the CTO and with the on‑call clinician
- English for reading technical documentation (desirable)
- Experience with AI/ML projects applied to healthcare (clinical NLP, predictive models, diagnostic support) (desirable)
- Experience working at health insurers, large hospitals or healthtechs (desirable)
- Product Management certification (CSPO, PSPO or equivalent) (desirable)
- Knowledge of LGPD as applied to healthcare and regulatory requirements from ANVISA/CFM relevant to medical software (desirable)
