Job Description
Product Manager overseeing revenue growth and scaling operations for ClassDojo's educational product, Dojo Sparks. Focused on optimizing user conversion and retention to increase revenue from $1M to $10M.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose the real constraints to revenue growth—whether conversion, activation, churn, or product experience—and prioritize the changes most likely to move the needle
- Own and improve the full Sparks funnel; be willing to redesign onboarding flows, paywalls, and core mechanics when needed, not just run incremental tests
- Ship at least one meaningful experiment per week, with clear hypotheses, instrumentation, and documented learnings
- Build and maintain a prioritized growth roadmap informed by funnel analysis, user research, and data—without relying on dedicated data science support
- Develop a deep understanding of why parents retain or cancel and translate those insights into product improvements
- Partner directly with engineering: write clear specs and work hands-on to get things shipped
- As Sparks begins experimenting with paid acquisition, help design the product loops that make paid channels ROI-positive
Requirements:
- Grown a paid consumer product through the $1M–$10M revenue phase (or equivalent early-scaling stage)—you know what it's like when infrastructure is thin and you have to figure things out yourself
- Owned paid conversion, activation, and retention—not just acquisition or marketing channels
- Fluent in subscription economics: you think in terms of LTV, retention curves, churn cohorts, and what drives them in product
- High-velocity experimentation: you design clear hypotheses, ship fast, and know how to extract signal from imperfect data
- Self-sufficient with data: can write SQL, build dashboards, and analyze funnels without a dedicated data scientist
- Uses AI tools as a daily force multiplier—including prototyping and building PoCs—to move faster than the team size would suggest
- 3+ years in a growth PM or equivalent role at a consumer company, with a consistent shipping cadence and clear metrics to show for it
- No need for large teams, heavy process, or mature infrastructure to be effective—you thrive with constraints.
Benefits:
- Health insurance
- 401(k) matching
- Flexible work hours
- Paid time off
- Remote work options
