Job Description

Product Owner managing backlog and sprints for e-commerce projects at Híbrido. Ensuring clear communication and effective delivery between clients and development squads.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and communicate the product purpose, objectives, and expected outcomes to the squad.
  • Ensure documentation of the product vision, goals and evolution in its dedicated space.
  • Produce and send status reports at the end of each sprint, summarizing completed, pending and planned tasks.
  • Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it reflects current business priorities.
  • Define and prioritize epics and user stories according to client objectives and squad capacity.
  • Lead sprint planning and support estimation and scope discussions with the team.
  • Monitor sprint success rates, urgencies and ad-hoc tasks, aiming to improve predictability and efficiency.
  • Act as the primary point of communication between the client and the delivery squad.
  • Anticipate delivery or scope risks and proactively communicate mitigation plans.
  • Facilitate alignment meetings and ensure transparency in priorities and trade-off decisions.
  • Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (planning, daily, review, retrospective).
  • Support the squad in removing impediments and in continuous improvement of the delivery flow.
  • Document meeting outcomes, decisions and action plans.
  • Collaborate with other internal teams (e.g., Dev, QA, Design, DevOps) and external partners when necessary.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in technology, e-commerce or digital product environments.
  • Hands-on experience with agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and management tools (e.g., ClickUp, Jira, Trello).
  • Previous participation in cross-functional teams or agile squads, contributing to sprint planning and delivery.
  • Solid understanding of the product development lifecycle, agile ceremonies and backlog management.
  • Ability to define and prioritize user stories and epics aligned with business goals and delivery capacity.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills with clients and internal teams.
  • Analytical mindset to connect user needs, business outcomes and delivery metrics.
  • Ability to work with moderate supervision, demonstrating ownership and accountability for product results.
  • Collaborative approach and openness to feedback and continuous improvement.
