Job Description
Professional Learning Specialist providing training and support for K-5 math teachers. Championing math education by facilitating training and creating supplemental resources for diverse schools.
Responsibilities:
- Lead engaging training sessions that build teacher confidence
- Follow up with 1-on-1 coaching to help teachers troubleshoot lessons and reach their own classroom goals
- Identify where teachers are struggling and create supplemental guides, tools, and classroom resources needed to fill those gaps
- Act as the 'voice of the teacher' in internal meetings, providing clear, honest feedback to product teams
- Collaborate within Professional Learning team and other internal teams
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in education, mathematics, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience teaching elementary math (K-5)
- Strong 'math-positive' communication skills—the ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly and enthusiastically to both students and adults.
