Job Description
Program Manager (PM) overseeing IT projects within DoD environments. Leading cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical solutions with strong stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Point of Contact (PoC) for BPA leadership
- Organize and lead kick-off meetings, status reporting, and In-Progress Reviews (IPRs)
- Track and report BPA metrics (cost, schedule, scope)
- Maintain and update the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
- Manage communication constructs across stakeholders
- Maintain the BPA backlog and ensure alignment with project objectives
- Oversee and update Playbook content (refer to Section 3.3.2)
- Plan, initiate, and manage IT projects from inception to completion
- Lead and guide technical staff, ensuring project milestones and deliverables are met
- Monitor progress to ensure compliance with deadlines, standards, and cost targets
- Evaluate performance results and recommend major changes impacting short-term project growth and success
- Function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree in a related field
- 10+ years of project/program management experience, preferably within DoD environments
- PMP required; Agile Scrum certification preferred
- Proven ability to manage complex IT projects and lead technical teams
- Strong understanding of cost, schedule, and scope management principles
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Active/Current Top Secret clearance
