Job Description
Project Manager leading small-business digital banking and payments modernization for TEKsystems clients. Migrating 16,000 users while coordinating Agile, technology, compliance, operations, and vendor teams.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of an in-flight digital banking and payments transformation initiative
- Modernize the small business digital banking experience and migrate approximately 16,000 users from a legacy payments platform
- Deliver cash management capabilities including Bill Pay, invoicing, receivables management, digital payments, accounting integrations, merchant services enrollment, and small business payment solutions
- Assess project scope, status, risks, dependencies, and overall health upon engagement
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, and status reporting
- Lead delivery across multiple business and technology workstreams
- Drive project governance, executive reporting, and stakeholder communications
- Manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and escalations
- Coordinate business, operations, technology, compliance, and vendor teams
- Support execution in a hybrid Agile and Waterfall environment
- Oversee Scrum team execution, sprint activities, and dependency management
- Build consensus, drive decisions, remove blockers, and align objectives with business priorities
- Ensure implementation plans address compliance, operational readiness, and customer experience considerations
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Project Management experience leading complex initiatives
- Financial services project delivery experience
- Experience in banking, credit union, fintech, payments, treasury management, cash management, or digital banking projects
- Understanding of compliance, security, operational, and regulatory considerations
- Experience leading projects combining Agile delivery teams with traditional project governance
- Strong Scrum team oversight and dependency management capabilities
- Experience taking over active projects and rapidly assessing project health
- Ability to identify risks, gaps, and dependencies while maintaining delivery momentum
- Strong executive communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and alignment skills
- Experience with payments modernization initiatives
- Experience with cash management or treasury management platforms
- Experience with digital banking transformation programs
- Experience with financial services technology implementations
- Experience with Fiserv or similar banking/payment platforms
- Experience with system integrations and technology migration projects
- Experience with vendor-managed implementations
- Experience with customer experience modernization initiatives
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, highly regulated environments
