Job Description
Senior IT Project Manager leading complex system projects and programs for Humana, a U.S. healthcare and insurance company. Coordinating teams, stakeholders, schedules, risks, and technology delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee various system projects and/or highly complex programs
- Assemble and lead project teams
- Identify appropriate resources
- Develop schedules to ensure timely project completion
- Manage stakeholder partnerships
- Mitigate project risks
- Coordinate team activities based on system scope, project objectives and team member roles
- Oversee interdependencies and integration of interrelated projects when managing programs
- Set strategies and lead program execution to deliver longer-term business value
- Apply SDLC and ITIL frameworks to manage technology-project risks and issues
- Influence department strategy
- Make decisions regarding technical approaches for project components
- Determine objectives and approaches to assignments with considerable latitude
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology or a related field
- 5 or more years of technical experience
- Demonstrated experience in technical product selection, technical design and practical implementation of IT solutions
- Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
- Minimum home internet download speed of 25 Mbps
- Minimum home internet upload speed of 10 Mbps
- Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
