Job Description
Project Manager supporting Centene’s healthcare business through Ambetter actuarial filings and regulatory deliverables. Coordinating timelines, stakeholders, risks, dashboards, and operational readiness across cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Support the end-to-end Ambetter filing lifecycle process and initiatives supporting business growth and market success
- Serve as the dedicated PMO partner supporting the Actuarial organization across the Ambetter filing lifecycle
- Own project timeline management, milestone tracking, and dependency management for actuarial deliverables
- Support annual filing activities, rate filings, objections, refilings, and operational readiness efforts
- Develop reporting and dashboards to provide lifecycle visibility
- Assist with establishing and maintaining corporate project management methodology and department procedures
- Maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, issue lists, and risk management plans
- Communicate project status to stakeholders
- Negotiate with stakeholders to identify resources, resolve issues, and mitigate risks
- Coordinate cross-functional meetings to meet stakeholder expectations and company objectives
- Provide functional and technical knowledge across business and technical areas
- Monitor project deliverables, including design documents, test plans, training materials, and operations documentation, for adherence to quality standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of project management experience
- Experience working with and leading diverse groups and in matrix-managed environments
- Proficiency with project management tools, MS Project or other project management software, and MS Office applications
- Healthcare experience preferred
- PMP or CAPM certification preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
