Job Description

Payroll transformation project manager leading multinational payroll and employee lifecycle implementations for ABB Robotics. Driving discovery, Workday integrations, testing, compliance, and change management across Europe.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end payroll and employee lifecycle transformation and implementation projects across multiple countries
  • Drive local country discovery activities and define future-state solutions
  • Manage project plans, timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications
  • Coordinate HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and external vendors for implementation and integration
  • Facilitate workshops, gather business requirements, and support solution design
  • Oversee testing, payroll validations, and go-live readiness
  • Support change management, training, and transition to operational support
  • Ensure compliance with local legislation, payroll regulations, and company policies
  • Provide project updates and recommendations to senior leadership and program stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the Global Payroll Transformation Lead and local and global stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English and Swedish
  • Extensive project management experience within payroll, HR transformation, or shared services environments
  • Proven experience leading payroll implementation projects in complex, multinational organizations
  • Strong experience with Workday, including payroll-related processes and integrations
  • Solid understanding of payroll operations, compliance, and employee lifecycle processes
  • Experience working with global and cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and change management skills
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for key workshops and project milestones
  • Experience supporting organizations operating across Nordic countries
  • Experience with Strada, divestments, or carve-out projects is an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
