Job Description
Project Manager leading large-scale electrification projects for ABB, which helps industries run leaner and cleaner. Managing budgets, schedules, risks, teams, and stakeholder delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, from planning to execution, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget
- Manage project financials, including budget tracking, cost control, and forecasting to ensure profitability and fiscal responsibility
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, identify key milestones, and ensure adherence to timelines
- Lead cross-functional teams, foster collaboration, and resolve conflicts to ensure high-performance outcomes
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate issues impacting project quality, cost, or timeline
- Drive successful execution of complex, large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders, ensuring client satisfaction
- Track project progress, generate regular reports, and communicate key updates to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Lead all on-site activities of medium to large projects
- Lead the site team, define main guidelines, and allocate tasks
Requirements:
- University degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the engineering industry
- At least 8 years in project management roles
- PMP certification is a plus
- 20% travel expected
- Candidates must already have work authorization permitting them to work for ABB in the US
