Job Description

Project Manager for SaaS implementation leading customer onboarding and expansion projects in philanthropy. Collaborating with teams to deliver high-quality outcomes that drive social good.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end implementation projects, from kickoff through go-live and transition to Customer Support
  • Create detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations based on customer requirements
  • Coordinate internal technical resources, consultants, and customer stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery
  • Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Maintain clear and consistent status reporting for customers and internal teams
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during implementation
  • Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and requirement-gathering discussions
  • Communicate technical concepts in a clear, business-oriented way
  • Manage customer expectations, scope, and priorities to ensure alignment throughout the project
  • Validate that configured solutions meet customer business needs and follow best practices
  • Oversee data migration, integrations, and user acceptance testing (UAT)

Requirements:

  • 3–7+ years of project management experience, ideally within SaaS, software implementation, or IT services
  • Strong understanding of SaaS delivery models, data migration, integrations, and cloud technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills
  • Ability to translate business requirements into actionable technical tasks
  • Preferred: PMP, CSM, PRINCE2, or other PM certifications
  • Prior experience working in a Professional Services or Customer Success organization
  • Familiarity with API integrations and data mapping concepts
  • Experience in enterprise SaaS software (e.g., CRM, ERP, HRIS, security, analytics)
