Job Description

Mid-level QA/UAT Tester to ensure quality in property management software. Execute testing strategies within product development teams to validate features and enhance user experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute manual and exploratory testing across assigned product pods
  • Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) on new features and releases in staging and production-refresh environments
  • Run post-deployment smoke tests in production to verify release health
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and developers to define acceptance criteria and test scenarios
  • Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases and test plans
  • Identify, document, and track defects through resolution, ensuring clear reproduction steps
  • Validate bug fixes and regression scenarios prior to release
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release readiness reviews
  • Help build and refine QA processes, checklists, and standards as the department grows
  • Contribute test data requirements and assist with test data management across environments
  • Partner with the engineering team to support the transition toward automated UI and API testing

Requirements:

  • 1-3 Years of Experience in Property Management Business Processes (Accounting, Maintenance, Leasing, etc)
  • Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, or similar)
  • Comfortable testing web applications across browsers and devices
  • Experience working in agile / scrum environments embedded within development teams
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with sharp attention to detail
  • Clear, professional communication skills for working across pods and with stakeholders
