Job Description
Recruiter conducting full-cycle technical and non-technical hiring for Surge’s next-generation AI platform. Sourcing exceptional candidates and partnering directly with hiring managers.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct full-cycle technical and non-technical searches from sourcing through screening, scheduling, and closing
- Own searches end to end, managing the recruiting desk from intake to close with autonomy and urgency
- Source candidates creatively and persistently, including passive candidates
- Identify where strong candidates can be found and attract their attention
- Work directly with hiring managers to shape roles and advise when specifications do not match the market
- Improve recruiting processes that create delays
- Recruit across engineering, research, product, partnerships, and other company functions
Requirements:
- Experience closing strong candidates in competitive markets
- Technical recruiting experience is a big plus
- Comfortable working with little structure or direction
- Strong writing skills
- Ability to run several searches simultaneously and work with urgency
- Ability to identify exceptional candidates and make judgment calls without relying on a checklist
- Ability to work across engineering, research, product, partnerships, and non-technical hiring
- Ability to handle sourcing, screening, scheduling, follow-ups, and offer details independently
- Work authorization or visa sponsorship status must be provided in the application
