Job Description
Digital Content Associate creating high-quality content for ESPN Deportes. Engaging sports fans through videos and social media while adhering to branding and style guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Create engaging content across various formats, including videos and social media updates.
- Contribute to ESPN's branding and style guide to maximize the impact of the content generated.
- Analyze and solve a range of problems with moderate guidance and direction.
- Ensure meticulous editing, proofreading, and quality control of all content.
- Generate new ideas for building account engagement and growth.
- Follow ESPN Deportes standards of practice including adherence to news and reporting guidelines.
- Utilize social/video data regularly to inform content decisions.
- Adapt to evolving industry trends and content formats.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver innovative and efficient content (video) solutions.
- May occasionally appear on-camera for video features, social content, live streams, and other audience-facing storytelling opportunities.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; both English and Spanish.
- Ability to develop unique ideas and craft compelling narratives.
- Understanding of sports content, SEO, and social media platforms.
- Experience with content creation software, design tools, and online platforms.
- Meticulousness in editing, proofreading, and ensuring the quality of content.
- Ability to learn new tools and adapt to evolving industry trends and content formats.
- A strong portfolio showcasing samples of previous work.
- At least 1 year of experience in content creation or a related field.
- Experience in sports content creation.
- Proficiency in multiple content creation tools and platforms.
- Strong understanding of ESPN's branding and style guide.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
