Job Description
Regional Business Manager driving QIAGEN’s dPCR and NGS growth across France, Italy, and Iberia. Expanding markets, managing strategic accounts, and accelerating genomics technology adoption.
Responsibilities:
- Drive sustainable revenue growth and market share expansion of the dPCR and NGS portfolio through distributor and channel partner management across France, Italy, and Iberia through direct customer engagement and strategic account development
- Develop and execute regional business and growth plans, identifying priority markets, customer segments, accounts, applications, and opportunities for portfolio expansion
- Identify and convert new business opportunities across research, biopharma, clinical, public health, and emerging genomics market segments
- Manage sales performance, forecasting, pipeline reviews, and commercial growth plans to achieve regional revenue objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers, decision-makers, opinion leaders, and strategic accounts
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, Applications, R&D, and Commercial teams to support product launches, demand generation, and market expansion initiatives
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive developments while providing actionable business insights and recommendations to global stakeholders
Requirements:
- Master's degree or higher in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline
- Several years of experience in business development, sales, channel management, or commercial operations within life sciences, genomics, molecular diagnostics, or biotechnology
- Proven track record of direct customer-facing sales and business development across multiple European markets, ideally including France, Italy, Spain, and/or Portugal
- Strong knowledge of PCR and/or NGS technologies and applications; exposure to digital PCR solutions is highly desirable
- Demonstrated success in developing strategic partnerships, delivering commercial growth, and managing complex sales opportunities
- Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage both scientific and business audiences
- Fluent English language skills and fluency in at least one of the South European languages (French, Italian, Spanish, or Portuguese); additional languages are a strong advantage
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region, up to 50%, depending on business needs
