Job Description

Regional Director leading Account Managers and sales strategy across CA, AZ, and NM. Advancing Braeburn’s opioid-use-disorder treatments through specialty pharmacy and field market access.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead recruitment, coaching, development, and retention of top talent, including performance management, compensation reviews, and employee engagement
  • Train, motivate, and coach Account Managers across the assigned regional geography
  • Execute field strategies and marketing plans to meet or exceed regional and national business objectives
  • Participate in developing and implementing national sales strategy and tactics
  • Assist with field infrastructure and field training supporting the strategic business plan
  • Develop and deliver business plans through periodic reviews with corporate leadership
  • Develop deep knowledge of the assigned region, including care delivery, major payers, and public policy initiatives
  • Identify and address region-specific opportunities and barriers
  • Review, analyze, and interpret field reports against quarterly and annual objectives
  • Foster compliant innovation in field approaches and ensure cross-functional collaboration with market access, medical affairs, government affairs, and other partners
  • Develop and implement regional communications
  • Plan and execute regional sales
  • Ensure integrity, sound judgment, and compliance with company policies
  • Manage regional-level expenses
  • Work on or lead special project teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA)
  • 12+ years of pharmaceutical experience
  • At least 7+ years of sales and/or field market access experience in biotech, specialty pharmaceutical, or device industries
  • 5+ years of first-line sales and/or field market access management experience
  • Proven sales or field market access performance in specialty pharmacy markets, evidenced by market performance reports and recognition awards
  • Demonstrated success building field-based teams and coaching and developing field-based professionals
  • In-depth understanding of reimbursement/insurance coverage for physician-administered treatments
  • Strategic vision, leadership, coaching, accountability, adaptability, business acumen, judgment, and collaboration
  • Experience leading teams within complex distribution models, including Specialty Pharmacy and Buy & Bill acquisition
  • Strong interpersonal, written, oral communication, presentation, planning, and operational skills
  • Ability to recruit, coach, and mentor
  • Collaborative, team-oriented skills and operational values
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
  • Strong ethical behavior and commitment to compliance
  • Willingness to travel regionally and nationally as needed, up to 50–60%
  • Passion for improving healthcare for patients with substance use or mental health disorders
