Job Description

Regional Product Manager responsible for implementing product strategies in DACH region for RESINEX, a leading plastic distributor. Requires strong collaboration with teams and product management.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage product-management activities for our suppliers and leading polyolefin manufacturers in the DACH region
  • Collaborate with European Product Management to implement market and product strategies
  • Support our sales teams in designated product and application areas
  • Serve as the primary contact for strategically important customers in the region
  • Help identify growth opportunities and ensure a strong commercial presence
  • Provide first-line technical advice to sales teams and customers on product selection, market insights, and applications
  • Communicate success stories and product benefits across the region
  • Contribute to commercial planning and budgeting
  • Monitor the performance of assigned product groups and ensure targets are met
  • Provide market intelligence that may influence budgeting and sales activities
  • Act as the interface between regional sales teams and suppliers
  • Translate product strategies into concrete regional action plans
  • Coordinate regionally on pricing, product availability, and feasible customer requirements
  • Prepare accurate sales (demand) forecasts to support supply-chain planning and ensure product availability
  • Contribute to demand planning and risk-management strategies
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration and ensure aligned objectives
  • Coach and develop team members to strengthen knowledge and performance

Requirements:

  • University degree or vocational qualification in business administration, engineering, chemistry, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial or technical product roles (hands-on technical activities)
  • Ability to influence across functions and countries and deliver on targets
  • Strong, clear communication and problem-solving skills, and solid data-analysis capabilities
  • Ability to manage complex and conflicting priorities—result-oriented and responsive
  • Hands-on mentality and strong customer-service orientation
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Experience working in a matrix organization is advantageous
  • Willingness to travel within the DACH region and to European meetings (up to 50%)
