Job Description
Regional Sales Manager overseeing Data Centre solutions sales and customer relationships. Collaborating on sales strategies and managing accounts for customer satisfaction across the territory.
Responsibilities:
- Surpass Booking and Shipment Targets for Data Centre solutions
- Manage assigned accounts ensuring proactive engagement and customer satisfaction
- Create proposals and quotations in line with sales processes
- Build and grow customer base by nurturing relationships with key stakeholders
- Orchestrate sales and marketing campaigns to enhance brand recognition
- Define and operate within the appropriate sales channel
- Develop and sustain strong client relationships to become the Basis of Design
- Provide exceptional post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain comprehensive customer and competitor records
- Analyze customer feedback for market share improvements
- Collaborate in creating sales strategies and forecasts
- Update CRM system accurately in real-time
- Work closely with other departments, providing feedback to enhance operations
- Join key trade associations and participate in local chapters
Requirements:
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or other technical degrees
- Excellent English and German speaking
- Significant experience in industry-related direct sales, particularly in data centres, mission-critical infrastructure, HVAC, or solution and value-based sales
- In-depth knowledge of thermal management, HVAC systems, or infrastructure technologies relevant to data centre environments
- Experience in tracking sales information of customers, forecasts, and reports using related software applications such as CRM
- Significant experience overseeing team performance and managing direct reports in a dynamic environment
- Strong understanding of complex B2B sales cycles and negotiation techniques
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
- Ability to communicate in an open and authentic manner in all situations
- Willing to travel up to 60-70% of the time.
