Job Description
Freelance English-to-Irish regulatory translator reviewing medical content for IQVIA. Ensuring accurate, compliant translations and quality delivery for life-sciences clients.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver on-time, high-quality translations to IQVIA clients
- Adhere to provided source materials and client instructions
- Research industry-specific terminology to preserve the meaning and tone of source content
- Cross-reference specialized glossaries and translation tools to check translation quality
- Quality-check translations for grammar, spelling, and punctuation before delivery
- Identify instruction gaps or external issues affecting client commitments
- Flag project-specific queries promptly
- Support quality and on-time delivery investigations related to feedback
- Maintain close communication with Project Management and Vendor Management teams regarding capacity
- Build strong relationships with the IQVIA Translation Services team
Requirements:
- Native in target language (Irish)
- Fluency in source language (English), spoken and written
- At least 1 year of experience in translating, reviewing, and/or post-editing regulatory content, including SmPCs, CTD, labelling, and packaging
- Experience with translation management systems and CAT tools; memoQ preferred
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
