Job Description
Regulatory support for development of high-end laser microscopy systems for research. Managing development projects and conducting risk analyses from concept phase to market launch.
Responsibilities:
- Provides regulatory support for the development and enhancement of high-end laser microscopy systems for research (up to Laser Class 4)
- Manages development projects from the concept phase through to market launch
- Conducts risk analyses based on functional, electrical and laser safety
- Identifies potential hazards and implements necessary protective measures and verification documentation
- Prepares and maintains technical documentation
Requirements:
- Completed degree in engineering or natural sciences, or an equivalent qualification with professional experience
- Professional experience in the development and/or certification of electrical laboratory equipment and laser systems
- Experience performing risk analyses (FMEA)
- Knowledge of functional safety (SIL)
- Ideally: experience in quality and/or project management
- Confident user of MS Office and SAP
- Good written and spoken German and English
