Job Description
Retail Processing Trainer supporting AmeriHome Mortgage’s residential mortgage operations. Designing training programs, onboarding processing teams, and improving compliance and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Enhance employee competencies by designing and conducting training programs
- Support operational readiness through consistent onboarding, process adherence, and performance support for processing teams
- Perform training needs assessments by evaluating strengths and weaknesses
- Design and deliver curriculum and learning materials
- Manage all phases of training interventions
- Translate requirements into training that prepares employees for the next step of their career path
- Develop or oversee classroom handouts, instructional materials, aids, and manuals
- Direct structured learning experiences and monitor quality results
- Deliver training courses and assess training effectiveness
- Evaluate ongoing programs and incorporate changes
- Stay current with trends and tools in employee development
Requirements:
- 3+ years of related experience in Training or similar field
- High school diploma required
- Entry level to intermediate knowledge of the residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending, including sales, operations, capital markets and/or other residential mortgage products and services
- Entry level to intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices
- Intermediate mortgage industry experience
- Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills
