Job Description

Retail Reporting Specialist completing due diligence questionnaires for John Hancock mutual funds, ETFs, and closed-end funds. Supporting Retail Distribution with accurate reporting and proposal services.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete cyclical due diligence questionnaires for mutual funds, ETFs, and closed-end funds offered through John Hancock Investment Management
  • Support Retail Distribution teams by delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality questionnaire responses
  • Prepare, edit, and complete monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc questionnaires within established deadlines
  • Coordinate all aspects of the DDQ production process to meet firm quality standards
  • Research and validate responses using approved databases and other identified sources
  • Partner with subject matter experts across the organization to source and confirm ad hoc responses
  • Support additional team projects as required
  • Collaborate with colleagues supporting Manulife Investment Management institutional product offerings
  • Report to the Director, Proposal Services, US & Asia

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 to 4 years of related experience in the financial services industry
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with various levels of management and internal clients
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent organization and project management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify inaccurate or inconsistent data
  • Ability to work effectively and respectfully with people who bring diverse skills, backgrounds, and experience
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset, strong sense of ownership, and ability to work independently or collaboratively
  • Proficiency with Adobe and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Preferred: experience with retail or mutual fund reporting
  • Preferred: Bachelor's or Associate’s degree, preferably in business, marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Preferred: experience using Qvidian or Loopio
