Job Description

Sales Engineer for QuidelOrtho, promoting Point of Care and Immunohematology products. Responsible for client relations and achieving sales objectives in the Eastern region of France.

Responsibilities:

  • Sell the company's solutions by developing a regional strategy and tactics that both retain existing customers and grow regional revenue, in accordance with the company's commercial policy and objectives that are specific, measurable, realistic and time-bound.
  • Achieve sales targets for the product range(s) covered.
  • Analyze results and propose corrective actions.
  • Manage customer accounts (commercial disputes between clients and the company are handled under the responsibility of the National Sales Manager; manage credits related to commercial agreements, etc.).
  • Identify, retain and develop our customer base to market additional tests and ensure growth.
  • Customer base development: define the action plan and strategic approach for each customer and prospect under your responsibility.
  • Propose and implement a territory coverage policy according to company-defined priorities.
  • Actively prospect and present the company's full product range.
  • Act as a business introducer and generate leads for other company departments.
  • Implement promotional policies developed by Marketing for the product ranges you are responsible for.
  • Install and provide training for Point-of-Care (POC) systems primarily in clinical departments and occasionally in the laboratory.
  • Position yourself as a primary contact with executive and operational stakeholders to strengthen partnerships.
  • Actively participate in responses to tenders and requests for proposals.
  • Record and update databases on a daily basis.
  • Prepare reporting within required deadlines.
  • Comply with all company security and safety procedures (vehicle safety, IT, biological safety, confidentiality, etc.).

Requirements:

  • Commercial and/or scientific education (Bachelor's degree or engineering degree).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience, ideally with long sales cycles or complex sales.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to negotiate, make arguments and influence stakeholders.
  • Professional appearance and a dynamic attitude.
  • Strong team spirit.
  • Project management skills.
  • Strong CRM discipline and accuracy.
  • Advanced sales techniques.
  • English: able to obtain and understand information and provide simple information in a familiar domain.
