Job Description
Sales Engineering Manager at Zscaler Red Canary coaching a team of engineers. Leading performance and improving sales methodology while working in cybersecurity.
Responsibilities:
- Coaching, enabling and empowering a team of experienced Sales Engineers to deliver against assigned goals
- Leading individual and team performance, ensuring that we are taking the necessary actions to maintain high levels of performance
- Strengthening the team by setting shared goals, information sharing, and establishing mentoring relationships
- Assessing gaps in evolving training needs and then create and implement programs to improve sales, product and technology skills of the Sales Engineering team
- Working to improve our sales methodology and processes effectively, including development of product presentations and demonstrations tailored to suit the level and nature of the audience
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience leading sales engineering teams, ideally in the cyber security industry, or a tenured sales engineer with experience as technical lead
- Strong, related technical background in cyber security, such as endpoint, network security, incident response, or related subject areas
- Proven track record of mentoring and developing team members and guiding them to success.
